Three-season construction and materials The tent body is constructed from heavy-duty 320G RipStop polycotton canvas, which includes a protective blackout coating. This material boasts a high PU 5000mm waterproof rating, coupled with Anti-UV 50+ protection. For additional protection, it features a separate 210D RipStop Oxford rainfly. The rigid base and shell are constructed from lightweight, durable ALUMINUM.
Space and comfort
The total sleeping area measures 7.05 ft long by 4.27 ft wide, providing ample space for two adults. The tent utilizes a 5 cm (approximately 2 inch) Memory foam mattress, offering premium comfort and support. The peak internal height is 4.66 ft at the head end, which allows occupants to sit up comfortably inside.
Setup and access
The scissor clamshell opening mechanism uses gas struts for deployment in seconds. Access is provided by a sturdy, adjustable telescoping aluminum ladder with a maximum length of 2.3 m (approximately 7.5 feet), accommodating various vehicle heights. When closed, the ST-17 maintains an extremely low profile of just 0.49 ft (just under 6 inches), minimizing aerodynamic drag.
